Cat’s holistic doctors cautioned us to work in the supplements slowly to make sure Cat tolerated each well, so it’s taken a bit of time to work all of them in, but we’re there, now — and Cat is doing well with all of what was prescribed.
Again, this is not what I’m recommending for your dog. I’m only sharing Cat’s meds and dosages. It’s absolutely vital that you consult your own holistic veterinarian for a customized treatment plan.

She’s now up to 78lbs, so this is what she is taking:
- I’m-Yunity: 8/day, total (4 in the morning, 4 in the evening)
- Settle the Yang (affiliate link): 4/day, total (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening)
- Wei Qi Booster: 4/day, total (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening)
- Stasis Breaker: 4/day, total (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening)
- Pure Encapsulations Liver GI Detox (affiliate link): 1/day
- CoQ10 (affiliate link): 1/day
- Yunnan Baiyao: 4/day, total (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening)
- Rx Renal Canine: 1/day
- Proviable (affiliate link): 1/day
This isn’t part of the holistic regimen, but, per the University of Minnesota’s clinical trial protocol, she also receives three 10mg tablets of propranolol three times per day.
It’s a lot to keep up with, so I divide everything up into morning and evening dosages, putting the pills into two small jars per day & combining them with food — except for the propranolol (because we have to be careful that she gets exactly the right dose 3x/day) & the yunnan baiyao (because it’s odor is rather overwhelming, so if I put them in her food, she just picks them out & spits ’em on the floor). We keep the propranolol and yunnan biayao in day-of-the-week pill containers.
